Introduction

Steps to Use​

  1. Confirm that your system meets the compatibility requirements.
  2. Confirm your Collector address and license key.
  3. Install the .NET Agent.
  4. Complete the Agent configuration.
  5. Enable monitoring.
  6. View data through the management page. If you encounter issues, see Troubleshooting.

Compatibility Requirements​

Before installing the Agent, please ensure your system meets the following conditions:

  • Windows operating system, meeting one of the following:

    • Windows Server 2008+
    • Windows 7+

  • Web server, meeting the following:

    • IIS 7.0 or above
    • Self-hosted WCF services or applications

  • Application runtime environment: .NET 2.0 - 4.8. Note: If using .NET 5.0 or above, you need to use the .NET Core Agent.

The Tingyun Agent is not supported on SharePoint servers. Forcing installation may cause SharePoint to malfunction.

If the website is configured with LegacyCasModel=true or NetFx40_LegacySecurityPolicy to use the older .NET 2.0 security model, it will cause business errors and the Agent cannot be used.
